For SDET:-

Basic qualifications

• A Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Computer science, Software engineering or a related field 
• 2+ years of experience with major time designing and building automation frameworks
• Experience in Java (or C# or C++) and knowledge of scripting languages like PERL, JavaScript or Python.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience/Knowledge about communication protocols, architecture and platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, evaluate alternatives and develop processes and tools as needed to support the organization.
• Experience developing in a Linux environment Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools and experience in developing product test harnesses and instrumenting products to gather test results.
• Experience with test driven development and establishing unit test infrastructures.
• Experience automating the validation of modern user interfaces and messaging infrastructures.
• Experience with evaluating and integrating open source and in house developed toolsets.
• Good communication skills and the ability to generate and communicate meaningful development metrics.
• Expert in software quality and testing methodologies / patterns.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment.
• Experienced in interacting and coordinating test activities amongst multiple teams.

For SDE 1:-

Basic qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in software development
• Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1+ years of experience building production software systems
• Experience with OO design/development
• Experience with the tools of the trade, including a variety of modern programming languages (Java, C/C++, Objective C, Python) and open-source technologies
• Experience in technical communication across technical and non-technical teams

Preferred qualifications

• Development experience with Linux and embedded operating systems.
• Development experience with media technologies (audio/video)

For SDE 2:-

Basic qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience. Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.

Preferred qualifications

• Masters in Computer Science or Engineering
• 3+ years professional software development experience.
• Development experience using primary Amazon Web Services e.g. Amazon S3 and DynamoDB
• Development experience defining, developing and maintaining REST based interfaces.
• Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts.
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
• Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment.
