Job Description

Must

  • Strong full stack ES6 JavaScript (both browser and NodeJS)
  • Previous experience of web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies such as Web Components and browser API’s (Java script built-in API)

Should

  • Good knowledge with web security, specifically OpenID Connect and OAuth 2
  • Familiar with AWS services such as CloudFront, Lambda@Edge, DynamoDB and API Gateway
  • Previously working in AWS with AWS Lambda functions
  • API design using Swagger and OAS
  • Previously used AWS Serverless Application Model
  • Containerisation (Docker)

Additional Skills

  • Worked with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Harness, Jenkins)
  • Documentation using Markdown
  • Working with 3 rd Party API’s and services
  • General tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, jFrog Articactory

Ideally, candidates should have 2 out of 3 of the Musts as a minimum and at least 3 of the Shoulds.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Communicate their own ideas effectively & assimilates those of colleagues and customers.
  • Support and contribute to departmental objectives.

Education / Qualifications

  • Be qualified to graduate level (or equivalent experience) preferably within a technical background (desirable).
  • AWS and/or other technical qualifications (desirable).
